Position Summary

Krafthaus is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Officer to support the organization’s financial operations and project activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring project costs, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the financial success of real estate and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Process invoices, contractor payments, and property-related expenses in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper recording and classification of financial transactions.

Budgeting & Cost Management

• Assist in preparing project budgets and financial plans.
• Monitor project expenditures and track costs against approved budgets.
• Support cash flow management and financial resource planning.
• Identify variances and provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and financial summaries.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and investment performance reports.
• Contribute to financial forecasting and business planning activities.

Compliance & Stakeholder Coordination

• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain supporting documentation for audits and financial reviews.
• Liaise effectively with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of best practices in financial management and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Experience within the real estate, property development, or construction sector is highly desirable.
• Professional qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent will be an advantage but are not mandatory.
