Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Hospitality Manager – Guest House & Bar to oversee the daily operations of the facility. The successful candidate will ensure smooth service delivery, strong guest satisfaction, and efficient business performance across both accommodation and bar operations.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage people, improve processes, and maintain a high standard of hospitality service in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the guest house and bar to ensure smooth, efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain consistently high standards of guest experience, comfort, and satisfaction.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve operational excellence and teamwork.
  • Manage bookings, reservations, guest relations, and service coordination.
  • Monitor revenue performance and implement strategies to optimize income.
  • Control operational costs while maintaining quality service standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and maintain strong customer relations.
  • Maintain the facility’s reputation for professionalism, cleanliness, and quality service.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports on occupancy, sales, and performance.
  • Coordinate procurement and stock management for bar and guest house operations.

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in hospitality, guest house, hotel, or bar management.
  • Minimum of a Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, guest service standards, and bar management.
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong understanding of revenue management and cost control.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Hands-on, practical leadership approach with high accountability.
