Position Summary
Aquantuo is seeking an experienced Intra-Africa Trade & Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize logistics operations and cross-border trade activities. This role plays a key part in creating an efficient, compliant, and customer-focused trade and logistics environment that supports the company’s regional growth strategy.
The Intra-Africa Trade & Logistics Manager will lead logistics planning, manage customs and trade processes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth movement of goods across African markets.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate end-to-end logistics operations for intra-Africa trade activities.
Oversee cross-border shipments and ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and regulatory authorities.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, cost control, and service delivery.
Monitor shipment performance, resolve delays, and manage logistics risks proactively.
Ensure accurate documentation for imports, exports, and customs clearance.
Collaborate with internal teams to support trade operations and customer requirements.
Track logistics KPIs and prepare operational reports for management review.
Stay informed on regional trade policies, customs procedures, and regulatory changes.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Operations, or a related field.
Master’s degree is an advantage.
Experience
3–7 years of experience in logistics operations, cross-border trade, and customs processes.
Proven experience managing trade and logistics activities within African markets.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of cross-border trade and customs regulations.
Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
High attention to detail and compliance focus.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
