Position Summary
The IT Infrastructure Manager will lead the planning, implementation, and management of the Company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across all systems and platforms. The role provides technical leadership across networks, servers, cloud environments, and communications systems while ensuring alignment with business needs and IT governance standards.
This is a key leadership role for a professional who thrives in a complex enterprise environment and is passionate about operational excellence, resilience, and continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities
Infrastructure Strategy, Architecture & Business Alignment
- Define and implement the IT infrastructure strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
- Lead the development of infrastructure business cases, including cost analysis, risk assessment, and impact evaluation.
- Provide technical leadership and governance across all infrastructure-related initiatives and projects.
- Ensure infrastructure design and delivery support overall business policies, operating models, and strategic goals.
Operations, Service Delivery & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of networks, systems, data centers, and cloud environments.
- Oversee IT infrastructure support services in line with ITIL practices, including Incident, Problem, and Request Management.
- Monitor service performance metrics such as uptime, latency, and resolution time, and drive continuous service improvement.
- Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN, server environments, and enterprise communications infrastructure.
- Ensure robust data protection, backup integrity, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity planning.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring infrastructure issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date system configurations, architecture diagrams, and operational documentation.
Governance, Security, Vendors & Leadership
- Enforce compliance with IT policies, security frameworks, and industry standards across all infrastructure operations.
- Ensure all infrastructure changes follow approved change and configuration management processes.
- Manage relationships with vendors, telecom providers, and service partners, ensuring SLA compliance and performance delivery.
- Lead vendor selection processes, contract negotiations, and performance evaluations.
- Strengthen infrastructure security through proactive monitoring, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the infrastructure team to build capability, accountability, and high performance.
- Oversee infrastructure reporting, risk management, and audit readiness activities.
- Ensure infrastructure services are delivered efficiently, within budget, and aligned to business priorities.
Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar leadership role.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN), systems administration (Windows/Unix), cloud platforms, and data center operations.
- Proven experience managing IT operations, infrastructure projects, and complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL) frameworks and cybersecurity best practices.
