We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team and help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and presentation our guests expect.

Position Summary

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for the efficient cleaning, drying, ironing, folding, and distribution of hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry. You will ensure that all laundry services are delivered to the highest quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold, and prepare hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or wear and report items requiring repair or replacement.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment in accordance with operating procedures.
• Handle guest laundry with care, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Ensure timely delivery of clean laundry to guest rooms and hotel departments.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry activities where required.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and hygienic at all times.
• Monitor laundry supplies and report low stock levels promptly.
• Follow workplace health and safety standards and proper handling procedures for chemicals and equipment.
• Support the housekeeping team in maintaining exceptional service standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Senior High School (SHS) certificate, vocational qualification, or equivalent; additional training in housekeeping or laundry operations is an advantage.
• Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Experience operating commercial laundry equipment is an added advantage.
