The role requires strong program management expertise, stakeholder engagement capabilities, and the ability to drive complex transformation initiatives in a fast-paced and matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Execution
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic transformation programs across the organization
- Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and implementation strategies in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders
- Develop and manage program timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and delivery plans
- Ensure successful execution of cross-functional transformation initiatives
Governance & Oversight
- Establish governance structures including steering committees and working groups for transformation programs
- Monitor program progress, risks, issues, and interdependencies and provide regular updates to senior management
- Ensure compliance with project governance frameworks, methodologies, and quality standards
Stakeholder Management
- Engage and influence internal and external stakeholders to secure commitment and alignment on transformation objectives
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams, business units, and executive leadership
- Build collaborative relationships that support successful program delivery
Change Management
- Integrate change management principles into transformation initiatives to support adoption and minimize resistance
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to coordinate stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and support activities
- Drive organizational readiness and change acceptance across impacted teams
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and issues proactively
- Develop contingency and recovery plans to address project delivery challenges
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical risks affecting transformation programs
Performance Monitoring & Benefits Realization
- Track and measure program performance against defined KPIs and strategic objectives
- Work closely with the Portfolio Governance & Analytics team to monitor and achieve planned business benefits
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and performance insights to support executive decision-making
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, or a related field
- Master’s Degree (MBA or MPA) is an added advantage
- Project Management Certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business transformation, strategy execution, or enterprise project delivery
- At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Proven experience managing complex projects and cross-functional operational excellence initiatives
- Strong background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen
- Advanced proficiency in analytics and reporting tools including Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience within telecommunications, digital services, or highly regulated industries is preferred
Additional Training
- Post-qualification training in Telecommunications and related technologies
- Management and leadership training programs
Technical & Functional Competencies
- Strong understanding of transformation frameworks and project management methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and BPM
- Expertise in process optimization and operational excellence programs
- Proficiency in project management tools and enterprise portfolio management systems
- Strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills
- Strategic thinking with strong execution and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Advanced budgeting, scheduling, and resource management capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed environment
