Role Overview

Maamani Ghana seeks a skilled and hands-on Mechanical Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of industrial machinery and integrated production systems. You will ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support smooth operations across poultry, feed processing, and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial mechanical systems and production equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults in machinery, automation systems, and plant equipment
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Support the operation and upkeep of automated systems within production facilities
• Collaborate with electrical and engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures at all times
• Support rapid response to breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering operations

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5–8 years of experience in industrial electrical systems and automation & control systems
• Strong hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience in any of the following environments is preferred:
  • Poultry farms
  • Feed mills
  • Manufacturing or processing plants
• Strong understanding of automated production systems and industrial equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary technical team
