Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Planning & Customer Relations Officer to support corporate planning processes while strengthening customer engagement and service delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating business planning activities, analyzing performance data, and enhancing customer satisfaction.


Principal Accountabilities

  • Coordinate the preparation of the annual planning calendar to guide all corporate planning activities.

  • Collate relevant economic, financial, and operational data to support effective planning.

  • Support Departmental Heads in preparing departmental plans and coordinate the implementation of approved plans.

  • Prepare periodic (monthly, quarterly, and annual) performance reports, highlighting key variances, risks, and improvement opportunities.

  • Coordinate the development of five-year rolling strategic plans and annual business plans.

  • Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining a professional, responsive, and customer-focused environment.

  • Receive, investigate, and report customer complaints to management for timely resolution.

  • Implement initiatives to improve customer communication, service efficiency, and revenue recovery.

  • Monitor industry trends, including imports of similar products, to inform business strategy.

  • Conduct and analyze customer surveys and quality assurance data to drive service improvements.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of operational systems, procedures, and process improvements.


Qualification & Experience

  • Hold a First Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Possess a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of business planning, customer relations, data analysis, performance monitoring, and corporate reporting.

  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrate high integrity, professionalism, and strong ethical standards.

  • Possess working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 management systems.
