Role Overview
Petra seeks an experienced and highly analytical Portfolio Manager to drive investment strategy and portfolio performance. The successful candidate will actively manage client portfolios, deliver sound investment advice, and contribute to strategic asset allocation decisions while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective portfolio management strategies aligned with client objectives
- Conduct in-depth security analysis across equities, fixed income, and alternative investments
- Perform asset allocation and portfolio construction to optimize risk-return outcomes
- Monitor market trends and macroeconomic developments to inform investment decisions
- Carry out financial modelling, valuation, and performance attribution analysis
- Manage portfolio risk through robust risk-return optimization techniques
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear and persuasive communication
- Ensure strict confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment at all times
- Lead and manage investment-related projects efficiently
Required Skills and Competencies
- Demonstrate strong investment advisory and analytical capabilities
- Exhibit excellent decision-making and organizational skills
- Possess strong numerical aptitude and a solid mathematical orientation
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively (both written and verbal)
- Show intellectual curiosity combined with discretion and professionalism
- Apply effective project management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a strong work ethic and high level of integrity
- Build and sustain professional relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Technical Expertise:
- Asset allocation and portfolio construction
- Security analysis (equities, fixed income, alternatives)
- Risk-return optimization and performance attribution
- Financial modelling and valuation techniques
- Macroeconomic and market analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or a related field
- CFA designation is an added advantage
