Role Overview
Advans Ghana Savings and Loans Limited seeks a detail-oriented and analytical Portfolio Quality Officer to monitor and enhance the quality of the loan portfolio. This role ensures compliance, mitigates risks, and supports the organization’s financial performance while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Review and monitor loan and savings portfolios to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with policies.
Identify portfolio risks, gaps, and deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct regular portfolio assessments, reporting findings to management.
Support the implementation of portfolio management strategies and controls.
Collaborate with operations, credit, and risk teams to maintain high portfolio quality standards.
Assist in developing and improving reporting tools, dashboards, and workflows.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in banking, finance, or portfolio management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with financial software is an advantage.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
