We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Pre-School Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to supporting the holistic development of young children.

Position Summary

The Pre-School Teacher will create a safe, engaging, and child-centred classroom environment that promotes learning through play, exploration, and positive relationships. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality early years education, foster children’s social and emotional development, and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support every child’s success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development.
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to learn.
  • Foster children’s curiosity, creativity, independence, and confidence through interactive and play-based learning activities.
  • Observe, assess, and monitor children’s progress and maintain accurate developmental records.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to parents and guardians on children’s learning and development.
  • Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive learning community.
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour using positive reinforcement and age-appropriate strategies.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children by following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development programmes, and other school activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning within the Early Years Department.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in an early childhood or pre-school setting.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive team.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with a creative and child-focused approach to teaching.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive, caring, and engaging learning environment.
