Job Summary
HDG Homes Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinator to support and optimize procurement operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while ensuring quality standards and timely delivery.
- Create, process, and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and prompt resolution of issues.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, manage communications, and support supplier on-boarding and performance evaluations.
- Assist with invoice processing, contract documentation, data entry, reporting, and approval workflows.
- Support procurement strategies, sourcing initiatives, and cost-saving opportunities aligned with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is an added advantage.
- 3–6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with hands-on experience in purchase order management, vendor relations, and inventory control.
- Experience in a supervisory role and within the construction industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, procurement management systems, and data analysis tools.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
