Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and organized Procurement & Delivery Assistant to support purchasing, delivery, and day-to-day logistics operations.

The successful candidate will assist with sourcing products, coordinating deliveries, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to shipping companies, vessels, and clients.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good knowledge of Tema and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase groceries, food items, and operational supplies as assigned.
  • Deliver items promptly and professionally to shipping companies, vessels, and clients.
  • Assist in sourcing products and comparing vendor pricing to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Verify that all purchased items meet required quality and quantity standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, receipts, invoices, and deliveries.
  • Coordinate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and clients regarding orders and delivery schedules.
  • Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary.
  • Support daily logistics, procurement, and operational activities.
  • Ensure timely execution of deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • Follow company procedures and maintain professionalism during all operational activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Senior High School (SHS) Certificate.
  • Must reside in Tema Community 3 or nearby areas.
  • Good knowledge of Tema, the harbour area, and surrounding locations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Must be honest, reliable, organized, and physically fit.
  • Basic understanding of procurement, logistics, or delivery operations is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
