Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Supervisor to oversee procurement operations and ensure the timely acquisition of quality goods and services. The successful candidate will supervise purchasing activities, maintain supplier relationships, control inventory levels, and support operational efficiency across departments.
This is a full-time position based in Accra.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily purchasing operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality standards.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of supplies.
Review purchase requests, prepare purchase orders, and maintain accurate procurement records.
Ensure cost control measures align with budgetary guidelines.
Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Lead and support purchasing team members to achieve operational goals.
Collaborate with finance and department heads to forecast procurement needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Strong negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer applications.
