Position Summary

We seek a results-oriented and customer-focused Sales Executive to drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and deliver exceptional service experiences. The successful candidate will actively promote the hotel’s offerings, process reservations, support Sales & Marketing operations, and maximize revenue opportunities through strategic selling techniques.

This is a full-time position based in Accra. No supervisory experience is required.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Apply effective sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up-selling strategies.

  • Promote brand awareness internally and externally.

  • Determine and provide approved complimentary gifts (e.g., reward points, vouchers) to recognize guest patronage.

  • Process Marriott Rewards point redemptions and enter loyalty information accurately into the system.

Reservations & Guest Services

  • Process all reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations received via phone, email, fax, or mail.

  • Answer, record, and resolve guest calls, inquiries, and concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Contact relevant departments (Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) to resolve guest issues effectively.

  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate service needs and express genuine appreciation.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (filing, correspondence, documentation, data entry).

  • Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.

  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including grooming and uniform standards.

Teamwork & Professional Standards

  • Assist management in training and motivating employees and serve as a role model.

  • Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally in all interactions.

  • Monitor adherence to quality and service standards.

  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

  • Safely move or lift items weighing up to 10 pounds when necessary.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service.

  • No supervisory experience required.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

  • Proficiency in basic computer systems and reservation software.
