Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Officer to join our operations team. The successful candidate will support the efficient receipt, inspection, handling, and documentation of goods and supplies while ensuring compliance with hotel standards, safety procedures, and inventory processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of received goods and update inventory documentation accordingly.
  • Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items promptly to the appropriate departments.
  • Ensure safe handling, storage, and movement of supplies and materials within the hotel premises.
  • Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures at all times.
  • Report accidents, injuries, hazards, and unsafe working conditions immediately to management.
  • Complete all required safety training and certification programs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Ensure personal appearance and uniform meet company grooming standards.
  • Protect confidential information and safeguard company assets.
  • Respond to internal and guest-related requests professionally and promptly.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and supervisors.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members across departments.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, and machinery regularly to identify defects or maintenance needs.
  • Safely move, lift, carry, push, and position materials and supplies as required.
  • Work effectively in confined, elevated, uneven, or fast-paced operational environments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support hotel operations.

Educational & Professional Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No prior related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.
