We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Regional Logistics Project Manager to join our team in Tema. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead logistics transformation initiatives, drive operational efficiency, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our regional supply chain performance.

Position Summary

The Regional Logistics Project Manager will lead and coordinate logistics projects across transportation, warehousing, and distribution within the region. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, delivering cost optimization initiatives, improving service levels, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the supply chain.

The successful candidate will work closely with regional and global stakeholders to implement strategic logistics initiatives, enhance system performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Project Management & Execution

  • Lead and manage regional logistics projects across transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Drive the execution of end-to-end supply chain improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve operational and strategic project goals.

Supply Chain & Operational Excellence

  • Analyze logistics processes to identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimize distribution networks to improve service levels and reduce operational costs.
  • Support the development and implementation of best-in-class logistics practices.
  • Ensure alignment of regional operations with global supply chain strategies.

Data Analytics & Performance Management

  • Analyze regional logistics data to generate actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations.
  • Support business analysis and reporting to improve supply chain visibility.
  • Use data-driven approaches to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.

Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards across logistics operations.
  • Promote a strong safety culture within transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
  • Support SHE audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.
  • Implement corrective actions to mitigate operational risks.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Act as a key liaison between regional, zone, and global supply chain stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and IT.
  • Influence stakeholders at various levels to drive alignment and execution of logistics strategies.
  • Support change management initiatives across the logistics network.

Systems, Tools & Process Improvement

  • Support SAP system processes and logistics-related system enhancements.
  • Contribute to system transformation and digitalization initiatives within the supply chain.
  • Act as a super-user or business process support resource where required.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.

Cost Optimization & Business Impact

  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across logistics operations.
  • Monitor logistics expenditure and support budget control measures.
  • Drive efficiency improvements in transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Support initiatives that enhance overall supply chain profitability.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

What Will Make You Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in end-to-end supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Proven experience in project management and data analytics within a supply chain environment.
  • Strong background in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) practices and compliance.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Exposure to multi-market or regional logistics operations is an advantage.
  • Experience working as a liaison between regional and global supply chain stakeholders.
  • Strong cost management and cost-saving project experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems and related supply chain tools.
  • Experience in business analysis, super-user roles, or system support within logistics environments.
  • Exposure to distribution network optimization and customer-focused logistics solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • High level of initiative, ownership, and adaptability.
