Role Purpose

The Sales & Marketing Lead will drive business growth by developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, increase customer acquisition, and strengthen market presence. The successful candidate will lead business development activities, manage marketing campaigns, and build strong client relationships within the travel and tourism sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue growth and business objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the travel and tourism market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and marketing analysis for management review.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent customer experience and service delivery.
  • Manage social media, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Support the development of strategic partnerships and business collaborations.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives where necessary.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking engagements.

Educational Qualification

  • Degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, Travel and Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum of three (3) to four (4) years’ extensive experience within the travel and tourism industry.
  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, business development, or client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of travel and tourism products, services, and customer trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong digital marketing and social media management skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital marketing tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
