Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Associate to support our Audit, Tax, and Advisory practice. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing client engagements, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and delivering high-quality financial and advisory services.
Scope of Work
- Execute audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
- Prepare and review audit working papers and supporting documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS.
- Support tax compliance and advisory engagements, including interaction with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
- Identify, assess, and escalate engagement issues appropriately.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members on assigned tasks.
What We Are Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in an accounting or professional services firm.
- Chartered Accountant qualification (ICAG or equivalent); CPA is an added advantage.
- Strong hands-on experience in audit engagements.
- Solid understanding of Ghana’s tax framework and regulatory environment.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with the U.S. NGO/non-profit sector is a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, and client management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet tight deadlines.
