Position Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Consultant Legal (Employment Law Advisory) to join our Accra team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice on employment law, corporate compliance, and related legal matters, supporting both internal teams and external clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide employment law advisory services, including employee relations, contracts, and compliance with labor regulations.

  • Deliver legal support on mergers & acquisitions, company law, and legislative compliance matters.

  • Conduct thorough legal research and provide actionable, solutions-focused recommendations.

  • Collaborate with non-legal teams to enhance the effectiveness and reach of legal advice using advanced tools and technologies.

  • Draft, review, and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

  • Support clients and internal teams with critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic legal guidance.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized university in Ghana or overseas (minimum of second class upper).

    • Admission to the Ghana Bar (Qualifying Certificate in Law (QCL) or equivalent).

    • LLM or other master’s degree is an advantage.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a consulting or advisory role with relevant exposure to employment law.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills

    • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills

    • Solutions-focused and constructive approach to work

    • Experience with legal compliance, employment law, and corporate advisory

    • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and leverage technology in legal practice
