Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Corporate Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth, deepen client relationships, and deliver tailored financial solutions while maintaining strong risk management practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain structured call plans to ensure consistent engagement with corporate clients.
  • Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of the full suite of corporate banking products and services.
  • Proactively drive sales and cross-sell banking solutions to existing and prospective clients.
  • Negotiate client terms and prepare proposals for concessionary pricing for Executive Management approval.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients.
  • Engage clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and documents for credit assessments.
  • Resolve client issues and complaints effectively, ensuring satisfactory outcomes.
  • Conduct industry research to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends within the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Department to support succession planning and talent development.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Acquisition of new corporate relationships.
  • Frequency and quality of client engagement meetings and calls.
  • Reactivation of dormant accounts.
  • Growth in share of wallet within the existing portfolio.

Financial Performance Metrics

  • Growth in Loans & Advances.
  • Deposit mobilization.
  • Net Interest Income (NII) generation.
  • Growth in non-funded income (fees and commissions).
  • Revenue from trade, FX, and transaction banking.

Risk & Portfolio Quality

  • Maintenance of portfolio quality within approved risk thresholds.
  • Strong credit structuring and monitoring standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in corporate banking or relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of corporate banking products, credit analysis, and financial structuring.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
