Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Manager, HR Operations to lead and oversee end-to-end HR operations, ensuring alignment with MTN Ghana’s strategic objectives. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership, drive HR initiatives, and enhance operational efficiency while promoting an engaging and high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all HR operational functions, ensuring compliance with labour laws, policies, and regulations.
Drive strategic HR initiatives to improve employee experience, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
Oversee HRIS, payroll, and HR analytics systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure payroll governance, PAYE compliance, and adherence to financial controls and budgeting processes.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and ISO-compliant processes.
Provide expert guidance in employee relations, conflict resolution, and change management.
Analyze HR data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to support leadership decision-making.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Lead business process reengineering and continuous improvement initiatives in HR operations.
Educational & Professional Requirements
University Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
Postgraduate qualification or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SPHR, CIPD) is a plus.
Experience:
Proven experience as an HR leader with a track record in managing HR operations and delivering strategic HR initiatives.
Deep knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex HR scenarios.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

HR operational policies and procedures
HRIS, payroll, and HR analytics tools
Payroll governance and PAYE principles
Budgeting and financial controls
