Role Overview

The Surveillance Supervisor leads the monitoring and management of the hotel’s security and surveillance systems to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property. This role oversees surveillance operations, enforces security procedures, and responds effectively to incidents while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily surveillance operations, including CCTV monitoring and security system management.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of all hotel premises to detect and prevent security risks.
• Lead and coordinate the surveillance team to maintain high security standards.
• Investigate incidents, security breaches, and suspicious activities, and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and functionality of surveillance equipment.
• Coordinate with security personnel and other departments to respond to emergencies and incidents.
• Enforce compliance with hotel security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and surveillance records.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on surveillance protocols and best practices.
• Support emergency preparedness initiatives and safety drills.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education

• Diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminology, Information Technology, or a related field is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in surveillance, security operations, or a related field.
• Experience within hospitality or similar service environments is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance technologies.
