Job Summary

The Tax Compliance Assistant will support the finance and compliance team in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant tax filings and statutory contributions. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or final-year student eager to gain hands-on experience in taxation and financial compliance in Ghana.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

  • Support the preparation and submission of SSNIT contribution reports.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax and compliance records.

  • Organize financial documents for audits and regulatory reviews.

  • Support reconciliation of tax-related transactions.

  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of statutory payments.

  • Provide general administrative support to the finance and compliance team.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Recent graduate or final-year student in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of taxation and statutory compliance in Ghana is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and fundamental accounting principles.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
