Job Summary
The Tax Compliance Assistant will support the finance and compliance team in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant tax filings and statutory contributions. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or final-year student eager to gain hands-on experience in taxation and financial compliance in Ghana.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
Support the preparation and submission of SSNIT contribution reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax and compliance records.
Organize financial documents for audits and regulatory reviews.
Support reconciliation of tax-related transactions.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of statutory payments.
Provide general administrative support to the finance and compliance team.
Qualifications and Requirements
Recent graduate or final-year student in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Basic understanding of taxation and statutory compliance in Ghana is an advantage.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and fundamental accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
