Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Advisor (Innovation & Framework) to support the development and implementation of innovative policies and frameworks. In this role, you will provide strategic and technical guidance on digital policy, innovation ecosystems, and cross-sector collaboration, particularly within the Agri-tech and ICT landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory support on innovation strategies, frameworks, and policy development.
• Analyze and contribute to digital policy and entrepreneurship ecosystem development in Ghana.
• Support initiatives that strengthen the Agri-tech sector and its linkages with academia and agricultural value chains.
• Engage with stakeholders, including government, private sector, innovation hubs, and civil society organizations.
• Contribute to the development and strengthening of AI and data ecosystems.
• Conduct research, policy analysis, and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
• Support project planning, implementation, and monitoring activities.
• Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across relevant sectors.
• Ensure timely delivery of outputs while maintaining high-quality standards.

Educational Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Development Cooperation, ICT, Agricultural Technology, or a related field.

Experience and Competencies

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the public policy landscape, preferably in digital policy.
• Strong understanding of Ghana’s digital policy and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
• Proven knowledge of the Agri-tech sector and its linkages with academia and agricultural value chains.
• Experience working with innovation hubs and civil society organizations.
• Knowledge and practical experience in AI and data ecosystems.
• Strong proficiency in ICT tools and computer applications.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong team-working ability and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration platforms such as MS Teams.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
