Position Overview

Ecobank seeks an experienced Technology Lead – Enterprise Architect to drive the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and business-aligned technology architectures. The role focuses on aligning enterprise technology with strategic objectives, enforcing architecture governance, and leading secure digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Alignment

• Facilitate the development of secure and scalable technology architectures aligned with business segment objectives
• Collaborate with business units to translate operational requirements into effective and secure technology solutions
• Ensure technology solutions comply with enterprise standards, emphasizing efficiency, agility, and resilience

Architecture Governance & Compliance

• Enforce compliance with enterprise architecture governance frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate the implementation of architectural principles with a focus on security, scalability, and operational resilience
• Ensure alignment with global security standards and internal compliance policies

Technology Leadership

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise technology solutions with strong security foundations
• Drive the integration of cloud platforms, API-driven architectures, and secure frameworks aligned with business processes
• Provide expert guidance on emerging technologies, ensuring secure adoption that enhances performance and innovation
• Mentor and guide cross-functional teams through complex technology implementations

Educational Background, Work Experience & Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Information Systems, Information Security, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in enterprise architecture, technology architecture, or security architecture roles
• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF or equivalent)
• Proven experience delivering secure technology solutions and leading large-scale technology transformation initiatives
• Strong technical leadership with a focus on secure architecture design and implementation
• Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, digital transformation, and secure enterprise architecture
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to mentor and lead cross-functional teams in complex environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on aligning technology to business outcomes
