Position Summary

The Telehandler Operator will operate telehandler equipment to lift, move, and position materials safely and efficiently on construction sites. The successful candidate will ensure proper handling of materials while maintaining strict compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate telehandler machinery to lift and transport materials on-site.

• Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure safe operation.

• Perform basic daily maintenance and report any mechanical faults promptly.

• Follow site plans, load charts, and supervisor instructions accurately.

• Ensure safe load handling and positioning at required heights and distances.

• Adhere strictly to occupational health and safety standards.

• Support general site operations when required.

• Maintain a clean and organized working area.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Basic Education Certificate (BECE/WASSCE).

• Valid telehandler/heavy equipment operator’s license or certification.

• Proven experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.

• Strong understanding of equipment safety procedures and load management.

• Physically fit and able to work in demanding site environments.

• Reliable, disciplined, and team-oriented.
