Role Overview

The Thread Operator is responsible for operating threading machines to cut, shape, and finish threads on metal components according to required specifications. The role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate threading machines to produce accurate threads on pipes, rods, and other components.
• Set up machines and adjust cutting tools to achieve required specifications and tolerances.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished components to ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on threading equipment.
• Identify and report defects or equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities where required.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet operational targets and deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

• SHS, Diploma, or HND in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating threading machines or similar industrial equipment.
• Basic knowledge of threading processes and machine operations.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures.
