Position Summary

We are seeking motivated and dynamic Credit Officers – Group Lending to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for promoting and managing group lending activities, ensuring clients receive timely financial services while maintaining high standards of credit quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobilize and engage community groups to participate in BRAC Ghana’s group lending programs.

  • Assess loan applications, conduct risk analysis, and ensure compliance with internal credit policies.

  • Monitor group performance, provide guidance, and support clients in loan repayment.

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, loan disbursements, and repayments.

  • Collaborate with the team to achieve branch and organizational lending targets.

  • Provide training and financial literacy support to clients, enhancing their ability to manage loans effectively.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess creditworthiness.

  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

  • Experience in microfinance or group lending is an advantage.
