ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (SOLAR SYSTEMS) – FULL TIME
Location: Spintex, Greater Accra, Ghana

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, install, and commission solar PV systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
  • Conduct system sizing, energy yield analysis, and appropriate component selection.
  • Integrate solar PV systems with existing electrical infrastructure and grid systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization of installed systems.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with renewable energy standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the engineering or renewable energy industry.
  • Proven experience in solar PV system design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Familiarity with tools such as PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar design software is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of inverters, batteries, and grid-connected systems.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
