Role Overview
Telecel Ghana seeks a proactive and analytical Business Risk & Continuity Specialist to strengthen its enterprise risk management and business continuity frameworks. The successful candidate will identify risks, support continuity planning, and ensure the organization maintains resilience in the face of disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks and methodologies
- Identify, assess, and monitor business risks across departments
- Develop and maintain business continuity and crisis management plans
- Coordinate with business units (SPOCs) to ensure risk and continuity objectives are achieved
- Conduct risk assessments, business impact analyses, and continuity testing exercises
- Monitor compliance with internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Prepare risk and continuity reports for management review
- Promote risk awareness and resilience culture across the organization
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience and formal training in Enterprise Risk Management methodologies
- Strong understanding of Business Continuity and Crisis Management principles
- Knowledge of telecom business processes and internal control frameworks
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyze data and present risk insights effectively
- Familiarity with risk management tools and reporting frameworks
Skills & Competencies
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Collaborate with stakeholders and manage business SPOCs to achieve defined KPIs
- Adapt quickly to changing business environments and emerging risks
- Maintain attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Show initiative, accountability, and a proactive mindset
