WELDER / FABRICATOR

Position Summary

The Welder/Fabricator will cut, assemble, weld, and repair metal structures and components according to technical specifications and project requirements. The successful candidate will ensure quality workmanship, safe operations, and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal materials using fabrication tools and equipment.
• Perform welding activities using appropriate welding techniques and machinery.
• Inspect welded structures and fabricated components to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Repair damaged metal parts and structures when required.
• Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all fabrication and welding work meets project specifications and deadlines.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use protective equipment at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with installation of fabricated structures at project sites when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical Certificate, vocational training, or apprenticeship in Welding/Fabrication or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in construction, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metal properties, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements accurately.
• Physically fit and able to work with heavy tools, equipment, and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship..
