As the HR & Training Officer, you will drive the recruitment, talent development, and training operations within the Central Region. You will directly support our field operations to ensure our teams possess the skills and alignment necessary to serve our microfinance clients effectively.

- Manage Recruitment: Lead end-to-end recruitment cycles for branch staff, ensuring a seamless onboarding process that aligns with BRAC’s values and mission.
- Coordinate Training & Development: Design, organize, and facilitate training programs focusing on microfinance operations, compliance, customer service, and digital financial tools.
- Support Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for staff queries regarding company policies, benefits, and workplace environment in the Abura area.
- Monitor Performance Management: Assist branch managers in executing annual performance reviews, identifying skill gaps, and implementing clear improvement plans.
- Maintain Compliance: Ensure all local HR practices strictly adhere to Ghanaian labor laws and BRAC International’s internal global compliance policies.
- Facilitate Financial Literacy Initiatives: Collaborate with field teams to refine training materials that empower our female entrepreneurs and youth clients.
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Education: A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of active experience in human resources management, corporate training, or capacity-building roles.
- Industry Knowledge: Essential knowledge of microfinance operations in Ghana, including group lending models, field operations, and Central Region community dynamics.
- Skills: Excellent communication, public speaking, conflict resolution, and digital literacy.
