We are seeking a vigilant, disciplined, and detail-oriented CCTV Operator to join our security operations team in Accra.

Position Summary

The CCTV Operator will monitor live surveillance feeds, identify and report suspicious activities, and ensure all CCTV systems are functioning effectively. The role requires high alertness, integrity, and strict adherence to confidentiality and security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Live Monitoring & Surveillance

• Monitor multiple CCTV camera feeds in real time from the control room.
• Detect and report suspicious activities, security breaches, safety hazards, theft, or unauthorized access.
• Maintain constant vigilance to ensure safety and security across all monitored areas.

Recording, Retrieval & Evidence Handling

• Retrieve, review, and securely store video footage for investigations and incident reporting.
• Ensure proper handling and protection of recorded data in line with company policies.

System Checks & Maintenance Support

• Conduct daily system checks to ensure all CCTV cameras and recording equipment are fully operational.
• Identify and report faults, blind spots, or technical issues to IT or maintenance teams promptly.
• Support basic installation and setup of CCTV systems when required.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate and detailed control room logbooks.
• Record shift handover notes, incidents, system faults, and visitor access to the control room.
• Prepare incident reports as required by management or security supervisors.

Confidentiality & Compliance

• Handle all surveillance footage with strict confidentiality.
• Comply fully with company security policies and Ghana’s Data Protection Act.
• Avoid sharing any video content or sensitive information on social media or unauthorized platforms.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of an HND in Computer Science.
• Certification in CCTV operations or surveillance systems.
• Basic ability to install and configure CCTV systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong observation skills and high attention to detail.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Must have no criminal record and demonstrate high levels of trustworthiness and integrity.
