Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Asset Quality Assurance Analyst to support the bank’s credit risk monitoring and asset quality management processes. The successful candidate will ensure effective tracking of loan performance, strengthen risk mitigation strategies, and support the early identification and resolution of non-performing assets.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess the quality of the bank’s asset portfolio, ensuring early detection of credit risk issues.
- Analyse loan performance trends across Commercial and SME banking portfolios.
- Support the implementation of arrears management strategies and ensure timely escalation of delinquent accounts.
- Bridge operational monitoring activities with enforcement actions to improve recovery and asset quality outcomes.
- Conduct detailed credit and risk analysis in line with the bank’s credit policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts to ensure proper loan structuring and risk mitigation.
- Review and evaluate credit exposures and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Support compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
- Prepare and present asset quality and portfolio performance reports to management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of credit monitoring and risk assessment processes.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., MOODY’s Credit or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking, preferably in roles such as Credit Analyst or Relationship Manager.
- Strong hands-on experience in asset management and credit risk analysis.
- Solid understanding of Fidelity Bank’s products and services, particularly within Commercial and SME banking.
- Strong knowledge of the Ghanaian banking environment, credit cycle, and risk mitigation practices.
- Proven experience in arrears management, including both monitoring and enforcement processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to self-organize, work independently, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Capacity to think innovatively while maintaining structured and disciplined execution.
