We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality while contributing to a positive customer experience.

Role Overview

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry items are cleaned, handled, and presented to the highest standards. You will play a key role in maintaining efficiency within the laundry operations while adhering to quality, safety, and hygiene requirements.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold, and organize laundry items according to established procedures.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect laundry items to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
• Handle garments, linens, and other fabrics with care to prevent damage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laundry area.
• Monitor laundry supplies and report stock shortages when necessary.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Support the team in ensuring efficient daily laundry operations.
• Deliver excellent service while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of relevant work experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or a related role.
• A Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) qualification or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of laundry procedures, fabric care, and cleaning standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
