We are seeking a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage the procurement of goods, materials, and services that support our construction and operational activities. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement while building strong supplier relationships and supporting project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects and business operations.
- Source qualified suppliers and obtain competitive quotations to ensure value for money.
- Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and recommend the most suitable vendors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues promptly.
Purchasing & Inventory Coordination
- Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Track purchase orders from initiation through delivery to ensure materials arrive on time.
- Coordinate with site teams to understand procurement requirements and prioritise urgent requests.
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock replenishment to minimise project delays.
- Verify deliveries and ensure purchased items meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Compliance & Cost Management
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and purchasing documentation.
- Support cost control initiatives by identifying opportunities for savings without compromising quality.
- Prepare regular procurement reports, supplier performance evaluations, and purchasing analyses for management.
Collaboration & Operational Support
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, finance, and site teams to support project schedules and operational objectives.
- Monitor market trends, supplier availability, and pricing to inform procurement strategies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement efficiency and operational performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (3) years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Experience within the construction, engineering, manufacturing, or real estate sector is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (Ghana) is an advantage.

Location Requirement
Applicants must currently reside in Sunyani or be willing to relocate to Sunyani if selected for the role.
