Company Description
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is West Africa’s leading examining body responsible for developing and administering standardized examinations, awarding internationally recognized certificates, and promoting excellence in educational assessment across its member countries.
Established in 1952, WAEC was created through the collaboration of the governments of Ghana (then Gold Coast), Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and The Gambia to harmonize educational assessment standards within the region.
