We are seeking proactive and results-oriented Credit Recovery / Marketing Officers to strengthen our loan portfolio performance and drive business growth.

Role Overview

As a Credit Recovery / Marketing Officer, you will drive loan portfolio growth through effective marketing while ensuring timely recovery of outstanding accounts. You will balance business development objectives with disciplined credit monitoring and recovery strategies to support the company’s financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Plan, develop, and deliver marketing campaigns within agreed timelines.

• Implement marketing strategies with defined objectives and measurable targets.

• Identify changes in the marketing environment or competitor strategies within your assigned region and adjust plans accordingly.

• Support the company’s overall marketing objectives both externally and internally.

• Manage delinquent accounts by executing approved collection and recovery procedures.

• Monitor accounts daily in line with the approved collections strategy.

• Take prompt remedial actions to maintain portfolio performance in line with business objectives.

• Perform administrative duties related to collections and recoveries.

• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and basic safety rules.

• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.

Qualifications & Experience

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Credit Officer or in a similar role.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Strong knowledge of loan application procedures and best lending practices in accordance with state laws and regulations.

• Proficiency in loan management software and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong reading and comprehension skills for interpreting loan documentation and financial data.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work with complex financial information.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform under pressure.

• Demonstrated integrity and ethical conduct in handling confidential information.
