Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. The successful candidate will lead a talented engineering team, oversee the development of scalable digital platforms, and translate the company’s technology roadmap into successful product delivery. This role requires strong technical leadership, people management skills, and the ability to balance innovation, quality, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

• Translate the company’s technology strategy into actionable sprint plans, project roadmaps, and delivery milestones.
• Lead the day-to-day development of web, mobile, and API platforms while providing hands-on technical support when required.
• Drive the delivery of secure, reliable, scalable, and high-performing software solutions.
• Ensure engineering best practices, coding standards, testing, and software quality assurance are consistently applied.
• Manage engineering resources effectively and provide recommendations on build-versus-buy technology decisions.

Team Leadership & Development

• Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and customer-focused engineering culture.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and support continuous professional development.
• Promote agile methodologies, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across engineering teams.

Technology & Product Delivery

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that meet business and customer needs.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve technical or delivery challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes to increase development speed and product quality.
• Ensure platform security, infrastructure reliability, and system scalability.

Educational & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software engineering, including at least 1 year in a leadership, supervisory, or mentoring role.
• Proven experience building and scaling SaaS, fintech, or other digital platforms.
• Strong technical expertise in APIs, cloud infrastructure, software architecture, and application security.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
