Position Summary

The Field Service Supervisor oversees the maintenance, servicing, and operational readiness of all company equipment and vehicles. This role ensures that machinery and transport assets remain reliable, efficient, and compliant with safety standards while driving the effective management of garage operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the maintenance and servicing of heavy-duty machinery, including dozers, graders, excavators, trucks, amplifiers, and trailers.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of tractors and related tools such as irrigation pumps, generators, elevators, sprayers, and land preparation equipment.
  • Ensure proper management and servicing of pool cars, motorbikes, and other duty vehicles.
  • Maintain the efficiency and smooth operation of the garage at all times.
  • Plan and coordinate repair schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes and garage operations.

Requirements

Education:

  • First Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Automobile Option) is required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in automobile engineering and hydraulic systems.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty equipment and vehicle systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong organizational and supervisory abilities.
  • High level of accountability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
