Role Overview

The Front Office Supervisor oversees daily front desk operations and ensures a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. This role leads the front office team, maintains high service standards, and ensures efficient handling of reservations, check-ins, and guest inquiries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise front office operations, including reception, reservations, and guest services.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor room availability, reservations, and occupancy levels to optimize service delivery.
  • Train, coach, and support front office staff to maintain high performance standards.
  • Ensure accurate guest records, billing, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to enhance guest experience.
  • Enforce hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Prepare reports on front office performance, occupancy, and guest feedback.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Previous experience in front office operations or supervisory roles is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
