Position Summary
The school is seeking a passionate, organized, and collaborative Preschool Coordinator to support the effective delivery of our Early Years programme. The successful candidate will coordinate curriculum implementation, mentor teachers, monitor classroom instruction, and promote high-quality teaching and learning across the Preschool Department.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Curriculum Coordination
- Coordinate lesson planning to ensure alignment with the school’s Early Years curriculum and learning objectives.
- Monitor curriculum implementation to promote consistency and high-quality teaching practices across all preschool classrooms.
- Support teachers in developing engaging, child-centred learning experiences that foster holistic development.
- Review instructional resources and recommend improvements that enhance learning outcomes.
Teaching and Learning
- Observe classroom instruction and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor teachers to strengthen instructional practices and professional growth.
- Promote innovative and developmentally appropriate teaching strategies.
- Coordinate student assessments and monitor children’s learning progress.
- Support teachers in using assessment data to inform instructional planning.
Programme Coordination
- Plan and coordinate preschool events, educational activities, and enrichment programmes.
- Ensure the smooth implementation of daily preschool operations in collaboration with the Preschool Head.
- Maintain consistency in curriculum delivery and classroom practices across the department.
- Contribute to departmental planning and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Collaboration and Parent Engagement
- Work closely with teachers, school leadership, and support staff to achieve departmental goals.
- Support effective communication with parents regarding curriculum activities and student development.
- Foster positive relationships that strengthen collaboration between the school and families.
Administration and Quality Assurance
- Maintain accurate curriculum documentation, assessment records, and departmental reports.
- Monitor compliance with school policies, educational standards, and safeguarding procedures.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development programmes, and school-wide initiatives.
- Contribute to the ongoing review and enhancement of Early Years programmes.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related discipline.
- A recognized professional teaching qualification or teacher licensure will be an advantage.
- Teaching experience within an Early Years setting.
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of teaching experience, preferably within an international school environment.
- Previous experience coordinating curriculum or supporting instructional leadership will be an added advantage.
