Role Overview

The Restaurant / Bar Supervisor leads daily food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and a high-quality guest experience. This role oversees service staff, maintains operational standards, and ensures smooth coordination between the kitchen, bar, and service teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
  • Lead, train, and motivate service staff to deliver excellent customer experiences.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address inquiries, feedback, and complaints.
  • Ensure proper setup, cleanliness, and presentation of dining and bar areas.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock usage, and coordinate replenishment of supplies.
  • Enforce compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  • Support scheduling, shift planning, and staff performance management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, stock, and operational activities.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Previous experience in restaurant or bar supervision is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
