Position Summary

Ghana Steel is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to promote and sell our steel products, develop new business opportunities, and strengthen relationships with existing customers. The successful candidate will actively drive revenue growth, manage customer accounts, and ensure excellent service delivery across all sales engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Ghana Steel products to existing and prospective customers across assigned territories.
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities into long-term customers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and payment collections.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and performance updates to management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback from the market to support product improvement and business strategy.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach in all sales activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in sales, preferably within the steel or construction materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of steel products and the steel market is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
  • Must be smart, professional, and presentable.
  • Ability to travel frequently for customer visits.
  • Ability to ride a motorcycle.
  • Valid motorcycle driving license is mandatory.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office and email communication.
